Certainly one of my favorite TED Talks is the one given by Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of the worldwide bestseller Eat Pray Love. In her discuss, Gilbert speaks concerning the fears and frustrations of those that pursue a creative life, especially during those moments of angst when the creative juices should not flowing, and provides some recommendation and encouragement.

It's a touching performance. Regardless that I have seen it quite a few times - I use it as a part of one of the courses that I teach on public talking - I never tire of it. Though there is definitely room for improvement, the constructive aspects of Gilbert’s speak make it moving and memorable.

So the place is the analysis? Well, to find it, you will have to go to a terrific blog for public audio system - Six Minutes. Written by my public speaking colleague, Andrew Dlugan, it is likely one of the finest assets on the internet for public speakers. You owe it to your self to spend a while exploring it.

I was delighted when Andrew invited me to put in writing a visitor submit during which I analyzed a speech.
